NAYPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - International Court of Justice (ICJ) held the public hearings on Gambia’s request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by the Republic of the Gambia over the Crime of Genocide, at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the Netherlands on December 10.

NAYPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - According to the State Counsellor and Foreign Minister Aung San Suu Kyi, the end of hostility between Myanmar's military and the Arakan Army (AA) is one of the key elements in solving long-standing conflicts in Rakhine State.

NAYPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - Several townships in myanmar held mass rallies in support of the State Counsellor who is defending Myanmar against the lawsuit at the ICJ on December 11.

NAYPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - "Rakhine today suffers an internal armed conflict between the Buddhist Arakan Army and Myanmar’s Defence Services. Muslims are not a party to this conflict, but may, like other civilians in the conflict area, be affected by security measures that are in place. We pray the Court to refrain from taking any action that might aggravate the ongoing armed conflict and peace and security in Rakhine."

NAYPYITAW (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - Gambia has filed a case against Myanmar at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing that Myanmar security forces committed genocide against Bengalis or caused mass exodus of Bengalis during the conflicts in northern Rakhine in 2016 and 2017.
