KUALA LUMPUR (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - The inaugural delivery of frozen whole durian from Malaysia to China has arrived at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Wednesday. The four tonne durians are shipped in the temperature-controlled environment by MASKargo after China allows import of frozen whole durians from Malaysia.

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok is expected to visit Europe again in November to persuade the latter from imposing ban against palm oil. Kok believes there is still opportunity for her to persuade Europe in her second trip to Europe this year.

BUTTERWORTH, Malaysia (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - If there is no local company to claim the foreign garbage, the government should call for open tender to clean and recycle the plastics and then send the foreign garbage back to the source country.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - The Malaysian Chinese Museum and the Southeast Asia and South Asia Research Centre under the National Kaohsiung Normal University sign collaborative agreement to enhance mutual collaboration in order to implement more exchange programmes in future. This is the second collaborative agreement signed by the museum since it opened on 1st May. 

RAUB, Malaysia (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - Musang King durian grown in Raub, Malaysia are likely to be exported by air freight to China on 18 June. PHG Ever Fresh Food (M) Sdn Bhd, a company which involves in processing and packing deep frozen durians are scheduled to deliver the first shipment to China pending the final export procedure. 

KUALA LUMPUR (Sin Chew Daily/ANN) - Liang Zhao Chang, a Malaysian Tzu-Chi volunteer who passed away in the Tzu-Chi Hospital in Hualien during his visit to Taiwan fulfilled his wish of donating tissues to save life of others. His two daughters signed the consent form to fulfil his wish where a pair of corneas, ligaments and bones were donated. Liang was laid to rest in Hualien.
