Bruneian students share thoughts at Singapore forum

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin /ANN) - Four Politeknik Brunei (PB) students - Mohammad Shamsul Bazli Bashreen bin Haji Mohammad Shamsul Bahreen, Nabil Ridhwan bin Suhaili@Suhili, Nur Nabaahah binti Roslan and Hafiz Mustaqeem bin Musa - and PB Officer from the Students Affair Department Madihah binti Haji Harun recently attended the STEP Sociovation Forum 2019 in Singapore. 

The students, who were representing Brunei Darussalam, took part in the Augural STEP Sociovation Forum organised by the Singapore University of Social Sciences and funded by Temasek Foundation International.

Seventy teens from various regions gather at the forum to focus on the elderly, the disabled and the environment. The forum centred on the idea of design thinking, teaching young people to identify problems in society, and creative solutions to a problem.

The five-day forum involved students from the 10 ASEAN member countries.
