Chief Incumbent of Kelaniya temple tells Muslims to bury their fears with Gotabaya coming forward

COLOMBO (The Island/ANN) - Chief Incumbent of the Kelaniya temple Venerable Prof. Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Thera says moderate Muslims can live without fear,  distrust and suspicion with the arrival of Presidential Candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The moderate Muslims in the country now had a chance to live without fear, distrust and suspicion with the arrival of Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the Presidential Candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), Chief Incumbent of the Kelaniya temple Venerable Prof. Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Thera said, yesterday.

The Thera made this statement after SLPP candidate Rajapaksa visited the Kelaniya Temple and engaged in religious activities.

SLPP Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and a number of other party leaders, too, took part in the ceremonies at the temple.
