In the categories of Murai Batu Kepala Hitam (MBKH), Murai Batu Kepala Putih (MBKP) and Murai Kampung (MK), each of the first-place winners was awarded cash prizes of $500.

The second-place winners for the same categories received $300, while those in third place won $150.

The main highlight was the pronouncement of overall best birds, which went to Shamsuddin bin Haji Jainuddin, Gigih Gianto bin Ponidi and Muhammad Amalulariffin bin Azmi.

Prizes were presented to the winners by Haji Azmi bin Haji Abdul Rahim, the Chairman of the Tutong Municipal Board.
