The King of Cambodia Departs for 3-Day Official Visit in Vietnam

PHNOM PHEN (Rasmei Kampuchea Daily/ANN) - His Majesty Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, departed here this morning for a state visit in Vietnam from Dec 19-21, 2018.

The Cambodian monarch was seen off at Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Say Chhum, President of the Senate; Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly; Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister, royal family members, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia, and other senior officials.

According to a royal message, Samdech Say Chhum will act as the Acting Head of State of Cambodia during the King’s absence.

During the visit, His Majesty will stay in Hanoi and Danang, said the royal message.

This Majesty's visit has been done after Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen paid his visit this neighboring nation early this month.
