NBA to close its Philippines stores this August

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN) - The NBA Store is closing down its shops in the Philippines this August.

The NBA Store is closing down its shops in the Philippines this August.

The SM Megamall and Ayala Cebu branches will close on August 12 and August 15, respectively, while the TriNoma branch will shut down on August 30, according to a post on NBA Philippines' Facebook.

Even the NBA's official online store in the Philippines, which was just launched last year, will also cease its operations by the end of the month.

The NBA said the closure is "due to the conclusion of our agreement with our retail operator."

The NBA Store in the Philippines, which first opened in Glorietta in 2014, was the first in Southeast Asia.
