President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law creating a hospital for Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel, employees, their dependents and retirees.

Duterte signed Republic Act 11372 or the Philippine Coast Guard General Hospital Act on August 8, a copy of which was released to the media on Wednesday.

The hospital will be constructed in the Coast Guard Base in Taguig City.
