Singer Enkh-Erdene wins Mongolia's Got Talent 2016

ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia/ANN) - Mongolia's Got Talent 2016, the most expensive and most successfull TV show ever made, revealed its winner on December 11. 

Singer O.Enkh-Erdene thundered to victory after beating back the seven other finalists in Sunday`s final to take home to the prize money of MNT 100 million. 

The 20-year-old covered "Amarillo By Morning," the country song at the first round and won many hearts. 

He won the most votes from the audience in the final. 

Meanwhile, his strongest component and second runner-up of the show was a dancer and graphic designer B Shijirbat. His performances, combined both dance and graphic design went viral on Facebook and Youtube. 

Along with the best two, modern dancer E.Uugan-Erdene, opera singer B.Khishigbat, comedian T.Ganburged, singer P.Bayarmagnai, traditional ballad group “Altai” and ukulele player and singer B.Ikhersuvd had made it to the final.

The second series by Mongolia of the Got Talent international franchise auditioned over 2,000 contestants coming from every corner of Mongolia.

The show is not running next year, reportedly due to the expiration of permission for the Mongol HD TV by SYCOtv Company, which created the Got Talent format, according to unofficial sources.
